Very rare and beautiful White Creek Turquoise beads recently hand cut from rough material that has been in storage for over 40 years. The mine is located in northeast Nevada, in the cluster of mines including Lander, No. 8, Blue Gem, Dry Creek and Fox, but has been out of production since the 80`s. This is the original "white" Turquoise, the unusually light blue color is due to the presence of Aluminum rather than copper. This is similar in coloring to the Dry Creek Turquoise that came out of the Godber mine. These stunning south western style beads measure4 to 5x9mm. This is very rare Turquoise and a wonderful investment! 16" strand.
